Welcome to earth our little Vander

On Monday May 11th 2009 at 7:21 pm, my life completely changed. Keith told me a little over a month ago he had a dream that he saw our baby. He said he looked like him with light brown hair and had my eyes. I thought well it sounds like he is going to be really adorable!

When I delivered this little baby, not even expecting it, they put him right on me without cleaning him first or anything. I loved it! I would have not wanted it any other way. When I looked at him, I was so overwhelmed with emotion, I could do nothing but cry.

I had never seen anything so beautiful in my life.

Our little Vander was crying as well. I had never heard anything so beautiful in my life.

I was speechless, so overcome with emotion.

The sickness I went through, the painful contractions, all of it! It was all worth it.

He was more beautiful than Keith had described from his dream. He has beautiful dark brown hair, a beautiful face, perfect hands, feet, arms, legs everything! He makes the most adorable little noises and makes the cutest little faces! And Keith was right! He does have my eyes! I fell in love instantley with our little baby.

My Heart is so full.

This was such a beautiful event in my life. There is nothing like becoming a mother. It was more than I could have ever imagined.

This was such a special event that we have taken many special photos of our little Vander.

There are many many photos I have posted of our little guy! We are such a proud mommy and daddy that we wanted to share!

Sorry got out of order a little! Everyone is just waiting! I'm talking to my daddy right here!

It was so funny how Craig Keith's dad was just hanging out in the corner!

Getting admitted! Today is the day!!!

Contractions are still happening! Still at a 4! But I can still smile!

The nurse came in and said my doctor called and he wanted me to walk around for a half hour so the contractions would get bigger! I was only like at a 4 1/2. And as you can see I'm not to happy about it!
Tried my best to enjoy it!

The hospital did have some pretty cool things to see like the outdoors!

Well as you can see the walk worked! I went and laid back down after the walk and my contractions were worse and less time in between! When they walked me to the room I was going to deliver in that's when the tears came. They really started to hurt!

Keith's sister is a RN and so she went and held my liquid up higher so they would drop faster so I could get my epideral quicker!

Man looking at this picture reminds me of just how bad it hurt! I have NEVER experienced anything that painful in my life! The contractions were like getting to be 3 and 4 minutes apart! I was holding onto Keiths hand here! He said I was squeezing pretty dang hard!

Finally! The sad thing is I couldn't even really pay attention to the epideral! It didn't even hurt! I was dialated to a 6 when I got it! Here I was in the middle of having a contraction! I wish I could have enjoyed the epideral more!

2:15 I got the epideral! 2:30 I felt like I could walk on air! Well not really, I couldn't feel my legs! But man I felt goooooooood!

My mouth was so dry all I could eat was ice!!! But I was still happy!

My honey helped me through that painful moment I had! I love him sooooo much!

Rachel walked in the door right when I was in the middle of a contraction! She witnessed the whole ordeal! I'm so happy she was there!

My mother in law and father in law were in Utah visiting Truly and not due back until that evening! But they made it just in time!

and my mommy flew in with them!

My baby put a towel over me cause I was cold and then he rubbed my back!

I was so tired from everything! I had to lay on my side to cause the baby was sunny side up and he needed to turn! Which it worked for me cause I was cozy! And it worked! Little Vander turned!

Yes he's sucking his thumb! This was not to long after he was born! He doesn't do it anymore, but it was really cute!
And now sucking his finger! This one makes me giggle:)
