Easter 2011

So I've got my Easter post finally up! I really am like 2-3 months behind in blogging! Which I am working on! I'm going to have this post up for like a week and get started on my others so I can try and get caught up! (I know I always say that) but really I'm trying! I have next to come:

Vander's 2nd birthday

Mothers Day

Danielle's 1st birthday

Fathers Day

4th of July

So I need to start crackin!

But enjoy our Easter 2011! It was a very fun time!

I love this picture!

Everytime we would go to the mall he would yell bunny! As much as he loved seeing the Easter bunny he would keep his distance! It was pretty funny! The Easter bunny gave him this little bunny face!

See he would like to see and look at the bunny but he wouldn't get close!

Then the bunny would step out and Vander would want to see the bunny but kept his distance!

Finally Vander stepped into where the bunny was sitting and would give the bunny fives then run away real fast lauging!

Then he gave the Easter bunny hugs!!!

It took like two different times going to the mall to do this! He finally warmed up to the bunny and after that I couldn't get him to leave lol!

It was so cute seeing these little boys in big t-shirts and aprons so they wouldn't get color on their clothes!

Vander at first was very much into it!

At one moment there was a little bit of sadness which I don't know why!

EASTER MORNING!

The Easter bunny came and set out some fun goodies and
 two cute little Easter outfits for Vander and Danielle to wear to church!

Buddy was excited to come out to see what was on the couch!

The camera flash was a little bright for buddy first thing in the morning haha!

Cars which is Vander's favorite were inside these Easter eggs!

Then little sis woke up and came to see what the Easter bunny brought!

They loved the little stuffed animals they got!

Vander loves a big and little of everything!

Which is usually a mommy and baby! if there's a 3rd it's mommy daddy and baby!

I thought these reeses pieces were packaged so cute!

Lol we just got home from church and he was going through his little candy basket he got from nursery! I love his face!

During naps the Easter bunny came again and hid some Easter eggs!

Oh boy!

When buddy came out he was so excited to see this!

 Keith and I had so much fun watching this that we wanted to hide some eggs and do it all over agin!

It was so cute! He would find an egg and run with it to daddy and say, Open it! In a really cute high voice! We got a kick out of it!

Some eggs had candy and some eggs had money! He would lay them in their own piles!

It was so cute!

I thought these little chocolate turtles were so cute!

For some reason he liked having his Easter basket over by the front door! We actually moved it once and he picked it up and carried it right back! It was funny! We just let him keep it there! So everytime he would empty an egg he would run and drop his egg in the basket over by the door haha!

Then he follows with rocks!

He decided to break open sisters chocolate bunny!

Which was fine cause she couldn't eat it anyway!

We thought his little bite marks were so cute!

He wanted to share with mommy and daddy!

He got this cool green car filled with candy!

Danielle woke up from her nap to join in on the fun!

She loves her pink bunny from the Easter bunny!

This was my best moment of our Easter Sunday!

And probably one of my most precious and tender moments with Vander.

He likes to play with my hair, and he does it really soft. This was like the 2nd time he had done it.

I said Keith look he likes to play with my hair! Keith had the camera right by him and so he started taking pictures.....

Notice his little hand letting my hair just fall through his little fingers!

He then walked around the front of me.....

When he came around the front of me he looked at me and smiled, he then put his two little hands under my chin and just looked at me like I was the most amazing thing he had ever seen. I looked at him and said I love you. He then put my face between his hands and gave me the biggest smile with a little laugh! It made my heart just melt and gave me chills! It brings tears to my eyes just looking at this picture and reliving that perfect precious moment. At that moment I could see the love my little boy had for his mommy.

I am so grateful that I was sent this little boy and our little Danielle. Easter is a day we celebrate Christ, and I know how much he loves me to send me these two little celestial beings.  I thank Heavenly Father everyday for giving me the greatest gift of all and that is being a mother, and I thank my little Vander for giving me the greatest and most precious memory on this Easter Sunday.
